Trumpeter Thara Memory (who just returned to the Mel Brown Septet after a long hiatus) will be at Jimmy Mak’s this Friday with the Superband.  The band usually includes Renato Caranto (saxophone), Stan Bock (trombone), Israel Annoh (drums), Skip Elliot Bowman (bass), and Jannice Scroggins (piano).
