The Mel Brown Septet holds down their regular spot at Jimmy Mak’s on Tuesday nights. Opening for them is the Drew Shoals Collective, featuring Shoals on drums, Ben Darwish on keys, John Nastos on sax, Farnell Newton on trumpet, and Eric Gruber on bass.
The DSC starts at 6:30 for a $3 cover charge. The Mel Brown Septet starts at 8 PM for a $6 cover charge.
