- Friday, 12/12 - Matt Jorgenson Quartet: Matt Jorgenson drums composer, Clay Giberson piano, Dave Captein bass, Thomas Marriott trumpet
- Saturday, 12/13 - Scott Hall Quartet
The Cave is Portland’s newest jazz club, offering music four nights a week for just a $5 cover charge. Music starts at 8 PM.
The Cave is located at 636 SW Jackson, near PSU.

This Friday at Jimmy Mak’s, two bands led by up-and-comers in the Portland jazz scene: John Nastos and Ben Darwish. John Nastos’s E4 performs first at 8 PM with Clay Giberson on Hammond B3 organ and Alan Jones on drums. Then, Ben Darwish’s Commotion takes over, with Sam Howard on bass, Jason Palmer on drums, and Chris Mosley on guitar.

This Monday, Go By Train (Dan Balmer, Micah Kassell, Clay Giberson) plays their usual last-Monday slot at Jimmy Mak’s. Head over for the no-cover electro-acoustic experience unique to them. Music starts at 8 PM.

Come down to The Cave this Thursday (8/21) for a jam session hosted by Clay Giberson and John Nastos. The house rhythm section will include:

- Jonas Oglesbee
If you’re a musician, come by and sit in. Original music is welcome - this session won’t just be the same old standards.
