JazzPDX.org’s newest feature will be integration with Twitter services.  To find out more about what Twitter does and how to sign up, click here.

Twitter messages tagged with the hashtag #jazzpdx (just write “#jazzpdx” at the end of the tweet) will be posted on the JazzPDX.org front page as soon as they are sent.  For example, someone might tweet the following:

Hanging out at Ron Steen’s Produce Row session.  Lots of great players tonight! #jazzpdx

Immediately, the message will be posted on JazzPDX for other users to see.  Also, important tweets will be retweeted by @jazzpdx.  Be sure to follow this user name to stay up-to-date with Portland jazz news.

When the new Twitter feature is launched (expected in the next couple of weeks), there will be a number of musicians participating - find out what sessions they’re going to, where they’re playing, and more by checking the Twitter box.
